Citizen partnership is a core principle of Précrisa, guiding all its activities and embraced by every member.

The Citizen Partnership Charter strengthens this principle by establishing a shared vision, structuring a coherent strategy and promoting best practices that value citizen knowledge and encourage active engagement.

The Charter is organized into six sections:

• Introduction – Context and objectives of the Charter
• What is citizen partnership? – Definition of the stance, of citizen partners, and the various forms of engagement
• Précrisa’s commitments – How the network integrates citizen partnership into governance and all activities
• Guiding principles – Core foundations that support meaningful citizen engagement within Précrisa
• Support – An upcoming platform to facilitate implementation
• Engagement mandate – A tool to clarify expectations between project leads and citizen partners, including a policy for financial compensation
